East Java Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Saturday, January 20, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (20/1/2024) at 11:06 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, red chili peppers, premium rice, milkfish, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, Indian mackerel, red chilies, shallots, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the highest price increase of Rp520 (4.33%) to Rp12,520 per kg. The price of Indian mackerel saw the lowest decrease of Rp1,120 (3.32%) to Rp32,610 per kg.
