Today's Food Prices in Jambi Region: Egg, Chili, and Oil Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (20/5/2024) at 13.25 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are medium-grain rice, shallots, red chilies, broiler chicken, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Indian mackerel, skipjack tuna, curly red chilies, pure beef, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The highest price increase was for medium-grain rice, up by Rp320 (2.47%) to Rp13,290 per kg. The lowest price decrease was for milkfish, down by Rp5,740 (18.67%) to Rp25,000 per kg.
