The average daily price of medium-sized garlic at traditional markets in Riau Province has decreased by 1.45% over the past month.

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 14:44 WIB, the daily price of medium-sized garlic in traditional markets in Riau Province remained unchanged compared to the previous day, consistent with the price trend over the past week.

Over the past month, however, the daily price of medium-sized garlic in traditional markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp41,350.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-sized garlic in traditional markets in Riau over the past three months has increased by 6.4% from the previous trading price of Rp38,300.

The highest recorded price increase for medium-sized garlic in traditional markets in this province was in March 2023, with a 72.05% increase, while the lowest decrease was also recorded in March 2023, at -42.38%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Riau show seven commodities decreased and 11 increased. The commodities with price decreases are Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Chicken Meat, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Chicken Eggs, Granulated Sugar, and Fresh Broiler Chicken Eggs.
