Latest Food Prices in Lampung Region: Chili Up, Salt Down (Sunday, April 7, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (7/4/2024) at 13.22 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, simple packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chilies, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), bulk cooking oil, milkfish, mackerel, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase, jumping Rp12,220 (29.81%) to Rp53,210 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of skipjack tuna decreased the most, by Rp580 (1.97%) to Rp28,850 per kg.

7. Mackerel: Rp32,190 per kg (down 0.92%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp30,210 per kg (up 0.43%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp28,850 per kg (down 1.97%)
10. Milkfish: Rp28,130 per kg (down 1.47%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp17,310 per kg (up 0.12%)
12. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp16,480 per liter (up 0.18%)
