10 Provinces with the Highest Chicken Prices (Friday, March 11, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of chicken meat (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 44,610 per kg, data as of Friday, March 11, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 43,875 per kg.

The daily price of chicken meat in modern markets in Central Sulawesi was the most expensive in Indonesia at Rp 51,200 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of chicken meat in this province did not change. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region was Rp 69,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in Jambi, the price of chicken meat was sold at Rp 51,150 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of chicken meat in Gorontalo was Rp 50,450 per kg, Bali Rp 47,100 per kg, and West Sumatra Rp 46,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, there were seven provinces with chicken meat sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest chicken meat selling prices were North Sulawesi, North Kalimantan, and West Kalimantan.
