Today's Food Prices in South Sumatra: Prices of Sugar, Beef, and Rice Fall

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (14/11/2024) at 09.49 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic cloves, simple packaged cooking oil, red chilies, iodized fine salt, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, shallots, premium rice, curly red chilies, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices surged the highest by Rp610 (2.29%) to Rp27,200 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of mackerel decreased the most by Rp1,220 (3.71%) to Rp31,670 per kg.
