Food Prices Today, December 2 in Central Java: Egg Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (December 2, 2025) at 15:34 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 increased and 4 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are red cayenne pepper and shallots.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as premium rice, large red chili, broiler eggs, and broiler chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red cayenne pepper surged the highest by Rp3,389 (5.96%) to Rp60,278 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped the deepest by Rp875 (1.64%) to Rp52,563 per kg.
