Latest Food Prices in Lampung Region: Onions Up, Sugar Down (Wednesday, January 10, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (10/1/2024) at 08.51 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 15 commodities increased in price and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include shallot bulbs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), simple packaged cooking oil, mackerel fish, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, granulated sugar, premium rice, red chili peppers, and farmer-level corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase, up Rp2,440 (7.63%) to Rp34,400 per kg. Farmer-level corn had the lowest price decrease, down Rp340 (5.23%) to Rp6,160 per kg.
