Latest Food Prices in West Java: Prices of Salt, Sugar, and Rice Drop

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (27/9/2024) at 08.48 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, pure beef, simple packaged cooking oil, premium rice, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, Indian mackerel, bulk wheat flour, granulated sugar, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp1,480 (4.02%) to Rp38,300 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies fell the most sharply by Rp4,360 (14.76%) to Rp25,170 per kg.
