Today's Food Prices in Jakarta, DKI: How Much are Chilies?

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today have been observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (8/5/2024) at 13.01 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are garlic bulbs, Indian mackerel, red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, dry soybean seeds (import), simple packaged cooking oil, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of garlic bulbs saw the highest increase, jumping Rp1,920 (4.04%) to Rp49,400 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean seeds (import) saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp1,560 (12.42%) to Rp11,000 per kg.
