Current Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Chili Prices Up, Shallot Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (23/7/2024) at 10:51 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 2 commodities increased in price and 5 commodities decreased.

The commodities that increased in price are red chili peppers and red cayenne peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, pure beef, Indian mackerel, skipjack tuna, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red cayenne pepper experienced the highest price increase of Rp5,920 (8.91%) to Rp72,340 per kg. Meanwhile, shallots saw the largest price decrease of Rp700 (3.18%) to Rp21,320 per kg.
