Current Food Prices in Bali: Chili Prices Rise, Red Chilies Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (22/4/2025) at 10:03 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged cooking oil, table salt, granulated sugar, dry soybean (import), and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, bulk cooking oil, medium rice, broiler chicken, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices surged the highest by Rp2,769 (9.43%) to Rp32,144 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies fell the most sharply by Rp3,571 (6.49%) to Rp51,429 per kg.
