Indonesia's Food Prices Today: Onion Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (3/11/2024) at 14:58 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, medium rice, SPHP rice, fine iodized salt, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, pure beef, red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp330 (1.04%) to Rp32,100 per kg. Skipjack tuna saw the largest price decrease of Rp410 (1.31%) to Rp30,800 per kg.
