Banten Region Food Prices, Monday (September 16th): What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (16/9/2024) at 15.54 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, granulated sugar, farmer-level corn, garlic bulbs, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, skipjack tuna, bulk wheat flour, mackerel, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp850 (2.21%) to Rp39,280 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of layer chicken eggs decreased the most sharply by Rp1,040 (3.82%) to Rp26,170 per kg.
