Current Food Prices in Jambi: Prices of Sugar, Onions, and Rice Fall

The price of several food commodities in Jambi today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (10/12/2024) at 11:44 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are premium rice, red chilies, shallots, broiler chicken, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), granulated sugar, shallots, skipjack tuna, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,610 (4.58%) to Rp36,790 per kg. Iodized fine salt experienced the largest price decrease of Rp180 (1.51%) to Rp11,720 per kg.
