Central Java Food Prices Week of (10/11): Onion Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (10/11/2024) at 16.28 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are shallots, bulk cooking oil, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, iodized fine salt, skipjack tuna, red chili peppers, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp220 (0.66%) to Rp33,700 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chilies experienced the sharpest price drop, falling by Rp440 (2.16%) to Rp19,900 per kg.
