Aceh Food Prices on Monday (May 6th): Rice Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (6/5/2024) at 15:19 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged simple cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), premium rice, fine iodized salt, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, dry soybean (import), garlic bulb, skipjack tuna, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the highest price increase of Rp160 (1.07%) to Rp15,070 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp5,000 (8.33%) to Rp55,000 per kg.
