Lampung Food Prices Tuesday (August 6th): Chili, Onion, and Egg Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (August 6th, 2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, red chilies, premium rice, farmer-level corn, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, granulated sugar, SPHP rice, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red onion prices surged the highest by Rp1,880 (8.42%) to Rp24,210 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices decreased the most by Rp4,320 (7.11%) to Rp56,430 per kg.
