Daily Beef Prices in Modern Markets of East Kalimantan Province Increased by 2.62% in the Last Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of beef in modern markets in East Kalimantan province is recorded at Rp160,700 per kg. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

However, compared to the last month, the daily price of beef in modern markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp156,600 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of beef in modern markets in East Kalimantan over the last three months has decreased by 3.95%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of beef in modern markets in East Kalimantan province was traded at Rp167,300 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of beef in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in March 2019 with an increase of 28.52%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2022 with a decrease of -19.87%.

The PIHPS monitoring shows that the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in East Kalimantan recorded two commodities decreasing and 23 others increasing. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Fresh Broiler Chicken and Chicken Meat.
