West Java Food Prices Monday (February 17th): Chicken and Beef Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 13:03 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, Minyakita, bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, medium rice, Indian mackerel, garlic cloves, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn prices surged the highest by Rp227 (4.22%) to Rp5,600 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies fell the most sharply by Rp1,897 (3.99%) to Rp45,674 per kg.
