Latest Food Prices in East Java: Onion Prices Rise, Egg Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (21/01/2025) at 11:21 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that saw price increases include garlic bulbs, pure beef, packaged wheat flour, fine iodized salt, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, bulk wheat flour, medium rice, premium rice, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level saw the highest increase, up by Rp70 (1.31%) to Rp5,398 per kg. The price of bulk wheat flour experienced the largest decrease, down by Rp110 (1.21%) to Rp8,986 per kg.
