Banten Food Price Update Today: Rice Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Monday, January 29, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (29/1/2024) at 09.13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, mackerel, chicken eggs, red chilies, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, bulk cooking oil, pure beef, bulk wheat flour, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of farmer-level corn saw the highest increase of Rp1,010 (12.7%) to Rp8,960 per kg. The price of milkfish saw the lowest decrease of Rp3,770 (11.46%) to Rp29,130 per kg.

9. Chicken Eggs: Rp27,000 per kg (up 0.52%)
