Bengkulu Food Price Update Today: Chicken Price Up, Chili Price Down (Wednesday, January 17, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bengkulu today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (17/1/2024) at 09.33 WIB, out of 17 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are medium-grain rice, broiler chicken, pure beef, skipjack tuna, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, chicken eggs, bulk wheat flour, granulated sugar, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase of Rp3,510 (14.07%) to Rp28,460 per kg. Red chilies saw the largest price decrease of Rp8,180 (17.21%) to Rp39,360 per kg.

7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp28,460 per kg (up 14.07%)
8. Chicken Eggs: Rp25,300 per kg (down 0.55%)
9. Granulated Sugar: Rp16,880 per kg (down 2.03%)
