Today's Food Prices in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Prices of Chilies, Rice, and Sugar Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (10/11/2024) at 10:13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk wheat flour, simple packaged cooking oil, red chilies, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, shallots, garlic bulbs, premium rice, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp4,350 (14.58%) to Rp34,190 per kg. Shallot prices decreased the most sharply, by Rp900 (2.61%) to Rp33,630 per kg.
