Food Prices Today (13/1) in South Sumatra: Red Chili Up, Cayenne Pepper Down

Prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessities Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (13/1/2026) at 6:00 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 increased and 1 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include shallots, broiler chicken meat, broiler chicken eggs, and large red chilies.

Meanwhile, only red cayenne pepper decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Large red chili commodity surged the most by Rp500 (1.32%) to Rp38,417 per kg. Red cayenne pepper prices dropped the sharpest by Rp417 (0.9%) to Rp46,000 per kg.
