Latest Food Prices in West Java: Rice Up, Salt Down (Tuesday, April 9, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (9/4/2024) at 10:17 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, bulk cooking oil, pure beef, broiler chicken, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, garlic bulbs, mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Medium-grain rice saw the highest price increase of Rp390 (2.81%), reaching Rp14,250 per kg. Iodized fine salt had the lowest price decrease of Rp1,340 (12.7%), reaching Rp9,210 per kg.
