Current Food Prices in Aceh Region: Salt and Oil Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday, June 1st, 2024, at 12:49 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, premium rice, medium rice, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, red chili peppers, milkfish, curly red chilies, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp230 (1.57%), reaching Rp14,860 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp10,000 (20.0%), reaching Rp40,000 per kg.
