Banten Region Food Prices on Monday (April 29th): Rice Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (29/4/2024) at 17.13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are chicken eggs, garlic bulbs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, dry soybean (import), chicken meat, bulk wheat flour, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Premium rice saw the highest price increase of Rp190 (1.28%) to Rp15,020 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of skipjack tuna experienced the lowest decrease of Rp1,670 (4.81%) to Rp33,060 per kg.
