Food Prices in Lampung Region Tuesday (19/8): Oil Prices Up, Rawit Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Lampung today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (19/8/2025) at 13:36 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices were pure beef, skipjack tuna, bulk cooking oil, garlic, and consumption sugar.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as mackerel, broiler eggs, dried soybeans (imported), red rawit chili, and consumption salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna commodity surged the highest by Rp690 (2.34%) to Rp30,148 per kg. As for red rawit chili, its price dropped the deepest by Rp1,235 (3.1%) to Rp38,613 per kg.
