Jakarta, DKI Jakarta Food Price Update: Beef and Chicken Prices Drop (Sunday, December 10, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (10/12/2023) at 10:17 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 3 commodities increased in price and 15 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk cooking oil, red chilies, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, granulated sugar, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), chicken eggs, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil saw the highest price increase of Rp270 (1.75%), reaching Rp15,660 per liter. Meanwhile, the price of mackerel experienced the lowest decrease of Rp2,320 (6.32%), reaching Rp34,380 per kg.
