South Sumatra Food Prices Monday (September 16th): Chili and Onion Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (16/9/2024) at 12.06 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are red onions, chicken eggs, red chilies, chicken meat, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, milkfish, dry soybean (import), mackerel, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp470 (1.25%) to Rp38,150 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of mackerel decreased the most by Rp650 (1.99%) to Rp32,040 per kg.
