Banten Food Prices Wednesday (24/4): Sugar Up, Salt Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (24/4/2024) at 18.01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include simple packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), broiler chicken, skipjack tuna, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, red chilies, dry soybeans (import), premium rice, and fine iodized salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most, by Rp7,000 (23.63%) to Rp36,620 per kg. The price of fine iodized salt decreased the least, by Rp1,240 (11.22%) to Rp9,810 per kg.
