Food Prices in Jambi on Tuesday (January 7th): Prices of Chicken, Rice, and Cooking Oil Drop

The price of several food commodities in Jambi today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (7/1/2025) at 13:57 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), simple packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, bulk cooking oil, curly red chilies, mackerel, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp2,590 (4.16%) to Rp64,910 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the largest price decrease of Rp1,650 (4.43%) to Rp35,570 per kg.
