Today's Food Price Update in Yogyakarta Special Region: Prices of Chilies, Beef, and Chicken Rise (Friday, January 26, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, have increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (26/1/2024) at 09.17 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, premium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), simple packaged cooking oil, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, granulated sugar, garlic cloves, chicken eggs, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies increased the most, by Rp4,980 (8.56%) to Rp63,160 per kg. The price of shallots decreased the least, by Rp2,230 (7.75%) to Rp26,550 per kg.
