Latest Food Prices in Lampung Region: Chili Up, Salt Down (Thursday, January 18, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Thursday (18/1/2024) at 15.25 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, red chilies, bulk wheat flour, and garlic cloves.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, fine iodized salt, milkfish, mackerel, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The highest price increase was for livestock-level corn, up by Rp190 (2.97%) to Rp6,590 per kg. The lowest price decrease was for fine iodized salt, down by Rp900 (6.28%) to Rp13,430 per kg.
