Today's Food Prices February 19 in East Java: Red Chili Up, Oil Down

Some food commodity prices in East Java today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (February 19, 2026) at 18:05 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 6 decreased.

Commodities that saw price increases include shallots, broiler chicken meat, broiler eggs, bulk granulated sugar, and large red chilies.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities like Minyakita, beef rump, Honan garlic, wheat flour, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili prices saw the highest increase of Rp619 (1.84%) to Rp34,241 per kg. Meanwhile, Minyakita prices dropped the most by Rp75 (0.48%) to Rp15,700 per liter.
