West Java Food Prices Friday (April 11th): Chili Prices Rise, Red Chilies Fall

Food prices in West Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (11/4/2025) at 17:17 WIB, out of 24 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, chicken eggs, shallots, granulated sugar, and Minyakita.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour, packaged cooking oil, pure beef, mackerel, and loose wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp3,254 (3.6%) to Rp93,650 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili prices decreased the most, by Rp638 (1.41%) to Rp44,568 per kg.
