Assets of Djoko Susilo Dominate KPK's Largest Seizures

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has seized assets primarily belonging to Djoko Susilo, the defendant in a 2013 corruption case involving the procurement of driving simulator equipment. This case caused state losses of Rp 100 billion. According to the KPK's 2015 Annual Report, the largest single seizure was a 703-square-meter plot of land and building in Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta, valued at Rp 38.4 billion.

The next largest seizure was a plot of land and building in Jagakarsa, Jakarta, also owned by Djoko Susilo, estimated at Rp 30.7 billion. This former head of the Indonesian National Police's Traffic Corps also owned land in Subang, another significant KPK seizure, valued at approximately Rp 23.9 billion.

In addition to the Rp 196.8 billion driving simulator corruption case within the Indonesian National Police's Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri), Djoko Susilo was also involved in money laundering. In December 2013, he was sentenced to 18 years imprisonment, a Rp 1 billion fine, and Rp 32 billion in restitution. He was also stripped of his political rights to vote and hold public office. Djoko Susilo is one of the high-profile figures apprehended by the KPK. Others include PKS President Luthfi Hassan Ishaaq, SKK Migas Head Rudi Rubiandini, Banten Governor Ratu Atut Chosiyah, and others.
