Today's Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Salt Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday, November 15th, 2024, at 17:52 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 2 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chilies, skipjack tuna, shallots, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of some commodities, such as curly red chilies and shallots, decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp570 (5.01%) to Rp11,950 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the largest price drop, falling Rp610 (1.89%) to Rp31,610 per kg.
