Food Prices in Jambi Today, January 09: Onions Rise, Red Chilies Fall

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to rise compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (January 9, 2026) at 17.35 WIB, out of 15 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 1 commodity decreased.

The only commodity whose price increased was red onion.

Meanwhile, only curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's price.

The price of red onion increased the most by Rp167 (0.48%) to Rp35,167 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili decreased the most sharply by Rp500 (1.56%) to Rp31,500 per kg.
