Current Food Prices in South Sumatra: Chili, Egg, and Rice Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (30/10/2024) at 14.41 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are dry soybean (import), kembung fish, and red onion.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, milkfish, skipjack tuna, garlic bulbs, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of kembung fish increased the most, by Rp340 (1.07%) to Rp32,160 per kg. The price of red chili peppers decreased the most, by Rp1,150 (2.74%) to Rp40,850 per kg.
