Today's Food Prices in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Onion, Chili, and Rice Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (19/4/2024) at 13.51 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are chicken eggs, milkfish, shallots, skipjack tuna, and Indian mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as cayenne pepper, red chili peppers, medium rice, shallots, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of Indian mackerel saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp400 (1.04%) to Rp38,930 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of cayenne pepper saw the lowest decrease, dropping by Rp1,090 (3.27%) to Rp32,220 per kg.
