Latest Food Prices in West Java: Chicken Price Up, Salt Price Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (14/10/2024) at 13.20 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), farmer-level corn, SPHP rice, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, medium rice, garlic bulbs, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of broiler chicken increased the most by Rp600 (1.72%) to Rp35,410 per kg. The price of fine iodized salt decreased the most sharply by Rp160 (1.56%) to Rp10,120 per kg.
