Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Prices of Onions, Oil, and Chilies Rise

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (29/10/2024) at 10:15 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, shallots, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk cooking oil, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, and fine iodized salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, up by Rp3,140 (9.69%) to Rp35,540 per kg. Red chilies saw the sharpest price decrease, down by Rp4,160 (8.06%) to Rp47,450 per kg.
