Latest Banten Region Food Prices: Rice Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

Food prices in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (19/8/2024) at 09.25 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, red chilies, premium rice, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, bulk wheat flour, milkfish, farmer-level corn, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the highest price increase of Rp660 (5.41%) to Rp12,850 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp2,740 (26.37%) to Rp7,650 per kg.

9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp26,500 per kg (down 2.18%)
