Banten Region's Current Food Prices: Beef, Onion, and Salt Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (1/10/2024) at 11:25 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, red chilies, broiler chicken, curly red chilies, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, iodized fine salt, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp710 (2.62%), reaching Rp27,810 per kg. Shallots experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp1,190 (4.26%), reaching Rp26,750 per kg.
