West Java Food Prices, Monday (November 18th): What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (18/11/2024) at 15.22 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include wheat flour (bulk), broiler chicken, red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, SPHP rice, bulk cooking oil, farmer-level corn, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp1,090 (4.19%) to Rp27,090 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of simple packaged cooking oil saw the largest decrease, down by Rp200 (1.12%) to Rp17,720 per liter.
