Latest Food Prices in Lampung: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (20/10/2024) at 11:49 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, milkfish, SPHP rice, red chilies, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken eggs, iodized fine salt, shallots, pure beef, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase, jumping by Rp580 (2.62%) to Rp22,740 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most, by Rp380 (7.77%) to Rp4,510 per kg.
