Banten Region Food Prices on Monday (July 29th): Egg, Oil, and Salt Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (29/7/2024) at 10:45 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, granulated sugar, chicken eggs, mackerel, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots (bulb), farmer-level corn, bulk wheat flour, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp2,040 (8.02%), reaching Rp27,470 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the sharpest price decrease of Rp440 (5.65%), reaching Rp7,350 per kg.
