Indonesia's Food Prices on Friday (December 20th): What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (20/12/2024) at 10:51 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, medium-grain rice, Indian mackerel, pure beef, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dried soybean (import), skipjack tuna, milkfish, bulk wheat flour, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp1,130 (2.6%) to Rp44,540 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the most sharply, by Rp610 (1.81%) to Rp33,070 per kg.
